Save time and money by using the QuicKey Leveler method to efficiently level keys, set dip, and aftertouch. The QuicKey Leveler method applies the most precise method of key leveling to achieve the highest quality results and regulation excellence!
Measure
Accurately measure natural and sharp keys in the rest and dip position with the universal mounting apparatus on upright or grand pianos.
Enter Data
Enter the key’s position data into the QuicKey Leveler Software program either automatically or manually. Data is evaluated using a sophisticated mathematical model to tell you exactly how punchings need to be adjusted.
Plan
Plan your leveling job before any punching adjustment is made. Choose arc height, key length, sharp height, and dip. Evaluate the adjustment before you begin to minimize action disruption.
Remove all keys at once!
Remove all the keys from the upright piano or from the key frame of a removed grand key frame, exposing all of the punchings and creating a well lit, comfortable work area.
Adjust Punchings
Make the adjustments to the punchings using the data provided in the printable software report. This report tells you what thickness punching needs to be added to the balance rail and front rail key pins to get the key in its perfect rest and dip position.
Return Keys
Return all the keys to the piano or key frame. Since the leveling job was planned and the adjustment minimized, additional regulation work is minimized.
